Christ in His Offices and Ministries (Earthly; Heavenly)

1. Prophet (Earthly). After the flesh (2 Corinthians 5:16; Hebrews 5:7); to fulfill the promises made unto Israel's Patriarchs and offer Himself as Israel's rightful King; offering Israel their Kingdom. Deuteronomy 18:15; Daniel 2:34-36, 44; 7:23-27; Matthew 4:23; 5:17; 10:5-8; 15:24-28; Mark 7:27; Luke 7:1-10; 18:32-34; Luke 24:19; John 3:2; 6:14; 14:24; 18:20; Acts 3:21; Romans 15:8; etc.

2. Savior (Earthly). After the flesh (2 Corinthians 5:16; Hebrews 5:7); in His humiliation, to become the offering for the sin and sins of all men, the propitiation to God, and the reconciliation of the world. Exodus 25:1-5; Isaiah ch. 53; Matthew 18:11; 1 Corinthians 15:1-4; 2 Corinthians 5:14-21; Philippians 2:5-8; Hebrews 2:17, 18; 5:8, 9; chs. 9 & 10; etc.. And thus now Heavenly. Ephesians 5:23; Philippians 2:9-13; 1 Timothy 4:10; Hebrews 7:25; etc.

3. Priest (Heavenly). Exalted far above all Heavens. Exodus 25:8; John ch. 17; Romans 8:34; Philippians 2:9-13; Ephesians ; Hebrews 4:14; 5:10; 7:13-28; 8:1ff; etc.

4. Head of the Body of Christ (Heavenly). Ephesians 1:17-23; 4:15; 5:23; Colossians 1:18; 2:19; etc.

5. King (Earthly). In Power and Great Glory; with a sharp two edged sword proceeding out of His mouth; etc. Matthew 2:2; Revelation 19:11ff; etc.

6. Judge (Earthly & Heavenly). Matthew 19:28; 25:31-46; Acts 17:31; Romans 14:10; 1 Corinthians 3:12-15; 2 Corinthians 5:10; Ephesians 6:8; Colossians 3:24, 25; etc.

Churches

1. Church in the Wilderness. Acts 7:38; Revelation chs. 2 & 3; etc. This church prophetically links to No. 2 upon the completion of the current dispensation.

2. Church of the Kingdom Age. Psalm 22:22-31 w/ Hebrews 12:22-24; Matthew 16:13-20 w/ Romans 15:8; Matthew 18:17; Acts 1:14-17; 2:1, 16, 41-47; Acts ch. 3 (v.24); James 5:14; etc.

3. Church which is Christ's Body. It's "necessary chemistry" or "necessary ingredients" being Jew and Gentile (Ephesians 2:16). Romans 12:5; 1 Corinthians 10:16, 17; 12:12, 13-27; Ephesians 1:22, 23; 2:16; 3:12; 4:4, 12, 16; 5:23, 30; Colossians 1:18, 24; 2:17,19; 3:15; etc.

4. Churches in Various Localities (local churches). Matthew 18:17; Acts 2:47; 5:11; 7:38; 8:1, 3; 9:31; 11:22, 26; 12:1, 5; 13:1; 14:23, 27; 15:3, 4, 22, 41; 16:5; 18:22; 20:17; Romans 16:1, 4, 5, 16, 23; 1 Corinthians 1:2; 4:17; 6:4; 7:17; 11:16, 18, 22; 14:33, 34; 16:1, 19; 2 Corinthians 1:1; 8:1, 18, 19, 23, 24; 11:8, 28; 12:13; Galatians 1:2, 22; Philippians 4:15; Colossians 4:15, 16; 1 Thessalonians 1:1; 2:14; 2 Thessalonians 1:1, 4; 1 Timothy 3:5, 15; 5:16; Philemon 2; James 5:14; 1 Peter 5:13; 3 John 6:9, 10; Revelation 1:4 w/ chs. 2 & 3; etc.
