There weren’t Christians of all stripes, Jews, and Muslims on the stage with Beck? And in the crowd? Does anyone think any of those people were praying to someone elses God? This Reverend would not attend an event like The National Prayer Breakfast because he might be praying next a person praying to a God other than his own? Am I the only one who finds his attitude un-Christian?

(A government that can dictate how much water flows into a toilet is a powerful government indeed.)

I think ALL people who believe in GOD coming together is a good thing! No, make that a great thing! I traveled on a bus with people of all different religious persuasions. Denominations and religions represent theological differences and interpretations but GOD IS LOVE and that is the universal message. God knows "his" identity and does not need denominational modifiers. The CHURCH is bigger than each of the many denominations that have grown from it. To get hung up on specific theological points is very Pharisitic. The CHURCH is not contained by walls or doctrines or creeds. The CHURCH is composed of all the people who have the SPIRIT OF GOD within. We are ALL pilgrims on a journey of seeking the face of God we all are now looking through a glass darkly. It is only on the other side that all will be made clear. Please don't be a stumbling block to this man who has come so far on his faith journey. We are not to judge one another for that is the ultimate sin of setting ourselves up as God. May we humbly be open to God's divine guidance. I am certain that what I experienced on 8-28 was the presence of GOD. Thank you Glenn Beck!
