Can you be a God in mormonism?

The geneology of faiths as I understand is that both Christianity and Islamm claim the same religious root of Abraham. The split comes in that Issac is of Sarah and Ishmael is of Haggar who was another of Abraham’s house. Haggar and Ishmael were put out. Jacob was of Issac and so developed the lineage of Jacob, Joseph, David up to Jesus Christ. This is why I think that the Jewish and Islam rift/hatred is too deep rooted to be reconciled as the true faith of GOD. Even the Islamists recognize Jesus as of Abraham but no more of a prophet than Mohammed and certainly not the Son of God of Abraham. The conflict between Jews, Islamists, and Christians are too deep rooted for shallow politicians to reconcile.
