I believe he is walking a fine line, but the presence and support of mormons were in force at the event. One interview had a representative from Utah who I’m sure was 100% mormon. Some will inquire about mormonism because of Beck and mormonism inc. will support him as long as he is useful. Interisting background on some of his outspoken beliefs can be read here

...if Beck continues to publicly express theological positions that contradict his leaders, there will come a time when his church will no longer be loyal to him....... If that happens, I hope he will find a warm welcome among Christians that have prayed for him during his spiritual search for truth. All I can say at this point is, let's be patient and see how this all pans out. If the Holy Spirit is really doing a work in his life, I am sure He will do an excellent job at bringing Beck into a more consistent relationship with the Father.

Interesting article on Glen...which indicates he is not yet settled in JDS doctrine...though he may mouth it as we often see, but does he really believe in their false doctrine? That seems questionable to me. But the more he promotes and mentions Mormonism the more I will be inclined he not only took the bait but is in the frying pan. When I watched the event I determined many were likely Mormons and supporting him for this event. I do think they will use him...rather like Scientology uses Tom Cruise. But I am hopeful when push comes to shove Beck will push back. Time will tell.
