Weirdest Apocalyptic dream you have ever had? I just had it.

Posted on 08/29/2010 7:57:01 AM PDT by Ancient Drive

This mist was sweeping the earth selecting those who would form part of the rapture, I saw this column of grape vines with a tremendous amount of grapes that reached up to heaven. These represented those who were the chosen ones to rule with Christ. The mist picked me up and I started to dissolve as I ascended higher along the grape vine. My consciousness was intact. It was kind of frightening to tell you the truth. Nevertheless, I put my soul in God's hands. Then I started to materialize again and he let me down to earth. God it seems would not make me part of the rapture class. Instead he gave me a task in the apocalyptic world developing before my eyes. He gave me the power to find those possessed by demons and slay them before they could harm his flock, those left behind to experience the second death. A gruesome task but necessary, as soon as I spotted a possessed person, the demon inside the person would take over and start massacring everyone within range. My job was to stop the spotted demon before he had a chance to do so. weird.

Yes, it’s called CONSTANTINE

I’m 45 years old and have had a condition called “dream amnesia” ever since I was a little child. I could not remember a single thing in my dreams. It was like I fell asleep and then woke up - nothing in between.

Now I know I did dream or at least the doctors said so (sleep study) because I showed all the classic signs, rapid eye movement, etc. I just could not remember them when I awoke.

Now, all of a sudden, I have had several dreams and have remembered them. It is really new territory for me.

“ricey bean & cheese burrito...”

Beans and spicy food will do it almost every time. Also peanut butter. ;-)

Seriously, tho.....I used to have a recurring apocalyptic dream in my teens and twenties. They were ‘dreams within dreams’. I would awake w/in the dream and my mother was there to tell me it wasn’t a dream. “They dropped the bomb.”

We have a huge military installation near here. They ‘bomb’ always went off in that direction and people were vaporized next to me.....leaving me on my own.

I’ve also had vivid dreams that come true the next day and have experienced utter evil in some, too.

Dreams are fascinating things.

I had one of those too. this one time an atomic bomb exploded in the valley below and I prayed to God. the blast vaporized me but I was still alive somehow. My consciousness was still intact.

I read that eating cheese before bed will inspire all manner of dreams. The government paid research also said that certain classes of dreams went with certain types of cheese.

I’ve found Gouda can produce unusually pleasurable dreams while Swiss is kinda neutral.

Discover alcohol. Drink until you pass out and then you do not remeber dreams. ;-)

In the dream it was bitter sweet I have to say. Though my heart wished to go to heaven with the first wave, God had a job for me and I knew it had to be done.

What if God gives one the power to do so, and arms one with a flaming sword forged in the fires of righteousness?

Then why not arm his angels with that to begin with?

Even angels have trouble with demons. Gabriel, in the book of Daniel, was held up 21 days by a demon called the Prince of Persia, until Michael the Archangel came to help.

I believe we have the power to cast demons out, but not to kill them. Though man has the power-through and from God- to cast out demons, I think confronting an actual demon needs to handled VERY, VERY soberly. Too many act flippantly about the power of angels and demons, AND "THEIR" authority over demons.

Too many think of themselves as more than equal to an angel, by the power of God. And yet, other than the Apostles after Pentecost, anyone who is described as seeing an angel fell on their face.

Can WE do as the Apostles? Yes. But that is a spiritual battleground that one better be VERY, VERY ready for.

"Then why not arm his angels with that to begin with?" Because it is our battle, our doing. Because it is mankind's trial. It is man who questioned the authority of God, and so it is before all of creation that man is being tested.

My Apocalyptic dream is typically nuclear war. Then I end up in some place that’s totally exposed to radiation.

Any plans for Obama?

He said "those possessed by demons"...

Smiling takes 6.
Pulling this trigger takes 2.
I'm lazy.

It was probably the cheese. Yeah, that’s right, the cheese did it.

Probably Monterrey Jack wasn’t it? Does the same thing to me.

Does your health insurance cover finding that diagnosis?

No wonder mine is so expensive, I’m in the risk pool to allow people to find out that they can’t remember dreams they have while they are sleeping.

Was this a big problem for you or anyone else?
