Why does grandiose, beautiful, architecture have anything to do with real worship? Should the place of worship where Jesus is present be kept un-beautiful? What does the phrase: Goodness, Truth and Beauty mean to you. Do you believe our worship of God should be about goodness and truth but not beauty?

Do you believe our worship of God should be about goodness and truth but not beauty? The place should be kept neat, clean, and in good repair. Beauty is secondary. It's just outward appearances.
Sometimes less is more.

Should the place of worship where Jesus is present be kept un-beautiful? Jesus is with me 24/7 and I'm not a really good looking guy. I worship Him all day long.
I think there is a human desire to build large beautiful churches not so much to honor Jesus Christ, but to project status and authority.
