We were asked to return to minister in the city of Bucaramanga, where we had been so severely persecuted some years before. The people had experienced a change of heart, and our home was soon flooded with medical students, business owners, priests, and people of every walk in lifepeople who wanted to know about Jesus. A [Roman Catholic] nun from the elite girls school was healed of cancer and began telling her students. They were saved, and when their parents began to investigate, they too received Jesus.
A young medical student asked us to speak at a celebration of Pentecost at his school. Evangelicals were to give messages on God is Love. I could not believe what I saw. There were no idols in the chapel. The priests and nuns held Bibles and chanted, Jesus is alive, He lives in me.
A young priestin a checked sport shirtled us in singing There is Power In The Blood. A beautiful young nun stood, tears streaming down her face, as she praised God in her heavenly language. When the students had opportunity to ask questions, God gave us wisdom to answer them.
Those who had once spit at us and paraded against us came and hugged me and said, Thank you for coming. We love and appreciate you. Over the years we prayed many times for these people and saw God restore marriages, bless business and bring many of their friends to Jesu. God is so good!
