I saw a little bit of the discussion about Mother Teresa and thought about jumping in, but why bother they won't understand. They are more caught up in the works and devotion to being poor than belief.
I'm fortunate that the church I attend is able to support a lot of missionaries. They come back from time to time and talk about what they encounter. It's really interesting because whatever it is they run into they try and create an opportunity to preach The Gospel. They don't let pagan believers think there is any way to salvation except through Jesus Christ and they don't rely on their good works to do the preaching for them.
