If you feel that that is the case, perhaps it would behoove you, or Catholics in general, to look at exactly how they are behaving that makes them feel that equitable enforcement of the rules would come across as *anti-Catholic bias*.
Jesus did not abolish circumcision...Christians still get circumcised today...Jesus abolished the Jewish reason for circumcision...
and Revelation 1:10 indicate that, even during New Testament times, the Sabbath is no longer binding and that Christians are to worship on the Lord’s day, Sunday, instead.
Sunday is not the Lord's day...Never has been...Never will be...That reference in Revelation is not a reference to Sunday...
If anything, Sunday is (some) Christian's day (to attend church)...
Jesus' body was changed...It is not the same body He walked around in on the earth...

Islam did get the idea from the OT; I thought that was generally understood and accepted and completely non-controversial. They got a lot of ideas from the OT and from the NT too.
I said it was "apparently" through the influence of Islam. It could, of course, be merely coincidental that, after 700+ years of evidence of Christian use of images and no record of opposition)suddenly icononclasm sprung up independently in some Christian groups and among the newly powerful Muslims, though it seems to me unlikely. Still, coincidences do happen.
The cartoons in response to enlightening spiritual questions are prima facie evidence that the respondent has no meaningful evidence to refute or contradict the contentions. One might argue that the respondent did not want to make such an argument but a group of objective individuals invariably do not interpret the cartoon or silly response in that matter. These factors have been proved in the jury selection process gleaned over many years.
It is all about the Love Jesus demands in Mt 5 44:48 and the renunciation of the sinful pride and selfishness exhibited by many on this thread,

Jesus had a a terrestrisl body...Jesus now has a celestial body...A spiritual body...Different body altogether...

You should see Houston’s First Baptist or Second Baptist. They are both rather large. Neither are so large as the House of Joel. First Methodist has a multi-campus spread.
Have you been reading the posts? I don't believe I singled any one church out. Why the assumption?

That is a great question. I've read posts from other FReepers trying to equate the ornateness of a church with the quality of worship. I think this is a rather odd position.
