Okay, lets look at the numbers, Obama bends over backwards to support a muslim institution and then goes to a christian one and uses it as on opportunity to espouse what he knows to be offensive to that community of faith....

The Archbishop of New Orleans is not liberal -- he was one of about 100 Bishops/Archbishops/Cardinals that spoke out against the visit by Obama to Notre Dame in May 2009.
Saint Edwards in Austin, Texas declined to allow Obama speak there -- probably more because they are aware of the uproar at Notre Dame in 2009. Saint Edwards is also a Holy Cross College like Notre Dame -- same order of priests running it.
The liberal Jesuits run Xavier in New Orleans.
The Provincial for the Jesuits is in New Orleans...
