I’d venture to guess that such things have always happened.
At one point, the entire planet looked like a ‘snowball’.
These things have always happened. Now we just have more 24 hour “news” stations to remind us...
I assume the same was said in the Days of Noah as well....
The Bible also talks about great changes in the Heavens, so we’re not quite there yet.
GOD is not a *Revolving Door* his plan for mankind will be full-filled and we can be a part of his plans or perish like so many have in history.
There are changes going on in the *Heavens*
The SUN
Warming on Jupiter and Mars
The Moon’s orbit
The rings of Saturn dis-appearing..
Ping...
There was no sea in Noah’s time, the entire Earth was watered by mist that came up out of the ground.
The People of NOAH did not see much rain, so of course people are *beings* of what they see and what they can’t.
Many people are the same today...
What's going on is the chroniclers are lunatics. Natural disasters have occured throughout human history and long before history started.
Does this mean we need to start doing the Chicken Little Dance instead of the Chicken Dance?
You said: These things have always happened. Now we just have more 24 hour news stations to remind us...
I think someone said that before you....
DANIEL 12:4
But you, Daniel, close up and seal the words of the scroll until the time of the end. Many will go here and there to increase knowledge.”

Hello? Extreme weather is always happening somewhere in the world. The saying is there’s a weather record being set somewhere every day.
The difference now is that we have an MSM as dedicated to playing up extreme weather in order to push the religion of Global Warming as they are to protect and defend the Lord Obama.
As for prophecies, ol’ Edgar Cayce is still my fave. He predicted a lot of this stuff before his death in 1945. The trouble is, these days his devotees never discuss his prophecies in detail anymore, as the strict timeline and dates for the tumultuous events he predicted begin in the late sixties and culminate around 2000, with fires, floods, earthquakes, land sinking here and arising there, etc.
By now, the aliens should have visited and Christ should have riz’ and the glorious new age begun (eight years ago, or so).
I’m not convinced. The powers of the Heavens will be shaken. Major changes. The things you cite, to the extent they are happening, are pretty consistent with the natural evolution of any planetary system. I think the now obvious concentration of political power into an inevitable one world system, and the worldwide emergence of radical islam, are the most convincing end time signs to me which are taking place now. We are approaching, I’m sure - how much longer (years, decades, or a centurny, who knows, all are a eyeblink in the scheme of things), who knows. Luke makes it clear that once we see the signs in the Heavens we are there.
paging algore, paging algore...money making opportunities abound....
The Countdown happened with the re-birth of *Israel* that is pivotol in Biblical Prophecy....
No one is saying that famines and natural disasters have not happened in the past, it is when *Everything* starts colliding together as *Birth Pains* increasing
1. Natural Disasters and Earthquakes
2. Falling economies
3. This rise in immorality: Homosexuality, Abortion, Pornography
4. Lawlessness
5. Violence
6. Wars, Famines, Plagues
7. Changes in the SUN
All of these are *Colliding* and increasing just like the Scriptures point out in the *Last Days*
There were a lot fewer extreme events between 1935 and the 90s. It is getting back to normal now. This is what the world normally looks like.
True prophets of God are 100 per cent accurate. Demonically influenced prophet wannabe’s can only extrapolate forward fairly accurately but their prophecies go awry over time. The Demons can’t predict when God will interpose from time to time in the course of events to work HIS ultimate will!
Ginger was good with the rain dance. The Professor ended up all wet. :^)
