“non-sequitirs, Einstein.”

No sarcasm necessary, nor any name calling.

Being a mother myself I am well aware of the value of mothers.

As for proofs, Scripture forbids us to pray to the dead. I know, we are all alive in Christ. Yet Saul got in big trouble for seeking the dead Samuel, who was of course and remains alive in Christ, awaiting the resurrection.

Just like Mary.

I think we need to obey God’s laws on this and other matters. It is fine to ask others to pray for us. But it is not ok to attempt contact with the dead; it is expressly forbidden. If you do it, you should stop.

Couldn’t agree more about praying to the dead. It is opening yourself up to demonic activity when you attempt to contact the dead. This could explain the long history of pedophilia in the Catholic Church, and the cover-up of such a perverse sin.

good post persevero.

I mean this with heartfelt sincerety: Catholics need to read the Bible. I mean, REALLY read it. Unfortunately, the Catholic Church does NOT promote reading and understanding scripture and the leaders of the church have it very wrong.

Blast away people, but I’m right and I only mean for you to find the truth.
