Speaking of the parents of Mary...one of my favorite Mary-related links...

Mary is never mentioned in the Bible as bestowing grace.

In fact, she is barely mentioned at all. Doesnt seem like much time is devoted to her sinlessness, perpetual virginity, Queen of Heaven status, bodily assumption, etc.

Catholics cannot use the Bible to support these doctrines because they are not taught anywhere ... At best they were made up by men ... at worst by the Angel of Light.

No, we owe Mary nothing at all.....we owe Christ everything of the Glory He deserves. He paid with His blood...Mary did not have the righteous requirements of Christ...nobody does. That’s why He died...not her nor the saints...so that we now are seen thru Him...not Mary or any other departed.

Don’t you realize that many of these anti-Catholics believe it was a UFO that caused “the miracle of the sun”, and that the “angel of light” that appeared to the children at Fatima was actually a demon? (Seriously. No sarcasm here.)

Jerusalem at the Tomb of the Virgin Mary by the Mount of Olives is the traditional place, although Epehseus (sp) in Turkey was at one time a contender...magritte

Well our country and others do require “a certificate of death”....so people who do die are dead.

If Mary had the importance the catholic church attaches to her then Christ would have left us instructions on doing this. He did not.

Furthermore....He certainly gave us instructions on who we are to pray to....and we are not to practice what the pagans did by praying to the dead.

Your post said

The only people IN heaven who were NOT created there, are the Old Testament Saints who died BEFORE Jesus.

I didn't see where you cited a source for this comprehensive teaching.

So, was Moses alive, or dead, when he was having the conversation with Jesus in Matthew 17?

The curtain represented Christ’s flesh given so that now there was no longer a need for the Priesthood as He Himself is the Great High Priest and there is no longer a need for the sacrifices the Priesthood were responsible for....now ALL may enter to the throne room of God.....the resurrection at that time symbolized that He indeed had won the victory over death.

I'm so sorry that you don't embrace Christ daily as I do at Mass.

May you be blessed in your search for the truth.

I am just going to say this since you keep posting this guy with his hands like that.....this is the same pose Satanic worshippers take when they worship. If you put a black robe on this character he even looks like one of them. I am just saying it is not exactly a character I would put any weight in what he states....no matter what title any church might give him. He is one creepy looking character....and so is the fact of his story.

**There is very scant about Mary....**

Mostly true. But she is mentioned in every Gospel and most extensively in Luke.

I get the feeling that Luke visited her many times in Ephesus with Paul.

Who said that Mary was dead? Where are her remains?

How about Joseph, Mary's husband? Where are his remains? Is a lack of answer proof that God took him bodily into heaven?

I still lean toward Mary’s assumption into heaven from Ephesus. No burial site anywhere unless I’m mistaken.

St. Mary Major — the largest church dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary does not contain her tomb as far as I know.
