I love this guy. I have seen him on EWTN before. I will be sure to tune in or record. Thanks for the heads up!

I will try to remember to watch or listen to this tonight, if it’s not the baby’s throwing-up hour again. I’ve always been interested in Rev. Jones’s story.

Stories like this make me realize how lucky I was to be born into the Catholic church. My parents really gave me a gift! God bless this man....he has sacrificed much but has gained so much more.

Do you know if this is a re-run or if it’s live... (I saw Deacon Jones on not all that long ago is why I’m asking)

I believe this is live. Do you recall if the program you saw was the dinner with Alex Jones? When he first came into the Catholic Church, he was discerning a call to the priesthood. He has apparently become a deacon.

One night we should invite the usual FR cast of shameful sinners on the program to vent their frustrations. They pose as Christians in this forum yet post inflammatory rhetoric that would try the patience of Jesus Himself. Saturday Aug 7 FR posted a thread entitled 'Magazine: Growing Trend Evangelical Crossing Tiber to Catholicism" now up to 760 entries. These types of articles just fan the flame of anti-Catholicism and the usual list of suspects knows no bounds of decency.
I try to respond with the love exhorted by St. Paul and Abe Lincoln “With charity for all and malice toward none” yet am rebuffed by the usual list of suspects. We should all pray the Jesus softens their hardened hearts.

Amen to that. I have been lurking on that thread. At what point does one “shake the dust off their sandals” when it comes to people who are so proud? I certainly appreciate all of the good Catholics fighting the good fight, though!

What a great idea! Somehow, I doubt our non-Catholic christian freepers would show up.
