Glenn has been a Mormon for 11 years. He is couching his language in evangelical terms to gain acceptance for the LDS (much like his mentor Cleon Skousen). He is not “seeking”; he is obscuring.
If you listen carefully, he gives himself away on more than one point of Mormon dogma (e.g. hell is not a lake of fire, the Constitution and Declaration are the divinely inspired Scriptures of our country, etc.).
I have been a huge Beck supporter but have become more and more concerned with his “transformation” from pundit to political leader and now apparently to religious leader. 8/28 grieved me. A celebration of “god” without the gospel.
