I am sorry, betty boop, I find your posts utterly unreasonable. You fail to comprehend everything I write. What seems to be the problem? Where and when did I say that God is responsible for man's culpability?
All I wrote was that our government is "based on noble principles, but stained in practice." And from that you conclude that I blame God for our culpability???
Please go back and re-read what I wrote and show me where I blame God for our culpability or have the decency to retract this nonsense.
If they can't choose evil, then neither can they choose the good
Man doesn't have to choose evil.
Well I figure it might have something to do with the following, singly or in combination:
(1) I am an empiricist, and you are a rationalist.
(2) I am a realist, while you are a nominalist.
(3) I live in First Reality, and you don't. Evidently, recently you decided to "resign" from First Reality which has God at its head and at its very root.
And thus we have extreme difficulty getting on the same page....
I didn't say you held God responsible for human cupidity/culpability. Indeed, I was trying to hold man responsible for his choices. God did not make a fully determined system; he left man free.... Free even to make really bad choices....
