More and more people are returning to Catholicism as some other Church’s are turning to the practice’s of suborning their religions to deviant sexual acts, or accepting women as Priests.

Some things I consider basic . They brag on their reading the Bible ,but they appear to pick and choose their passage’s. My knowledge of the Bible is not extensive, but I do believe I understand why Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed.

Venturer I agree to a point. However, the Catholic church has been growing around the would. My wife converted to the faith from Buddhism. Our son is in the Seminary. That biggest growth in the church is in Africa and Southamerica and USA. We have seen an explosion since the church changed the instruction of Revolution Theology in Most Semiaries around the would. Most of the grow is since the 1970’s. You will find that since the Vatican reviewed the seminary and got their teachings and behavior in line. Now there is an explosion of vocations.

Don't let the anti-Catholics fool you with flawed studied, dubious statistics and forced conclusions, the Catholic Church in America remains strong and growing. There is a phenomenon that appears to be incomprehensible to them; life-cycle Catholics. Anti-Catholics make an unsupported leap by concluding that any Catholic who wanders away from the Church does so permanently. Statistics show that many young people do wander away, but return when they have the spiritual responsibility of children. An even larger percentage are what everyone calls "deathbed Catholics".

The church I attend, SBC, is growing by leaps and bounds. People who grew up Catholics, Methodists, etc are joining our church because our pastor teaches from the Bible, word for word. It is a very conservative church and we are thrilled to have our minister. He has been here since about 1978 and we do not know what we will do if something ever happens to him. Some years ago, one of our staff ministers, attended a so called church which was in a house. When the “boss” heard where he was from, he told him to leave and not to come back. Guess they were scared that the members might learn something that they did not teach. I guess it went out of business since it has been turned back into a house. Years ago, when we needed more space, we bought the church next door. Guess what it was!!!! A Mormon church. My best way, years ago, to get rid of JWs was just to tell them first off where I went to church and they just quit coming around. I do not know if they even come on this street anymore.
