I think that’s what bothers me most - mainstream media’s insistence on pitting science and faith against each other. Truth does not contradict truth! That’s what got me interested in the topic in the first place.

Truth does not contradict truth! Superficially, I agree with this statement. Yet - as a scientist - I believe "science" is an inferior form of inquiry. By its very nature, it can give no sure answers, and anyone - rabid atheist fundamentalist or otherwise - who thinks it can is merely deluding his or herself.
