All I know is that my 28 years as a Latter Day Saint has been a blessing on my life and help me to be a better person and a more understanding towards my fellowman even those who continue to pound on the LDS because we are different in some ways.
Any aberrant group could produce someone who could give a similar testimony. Personal impressions don't make something true.
