We should know the times, so we can use our time on earth to spread the Gospel, to reach souls for Christ. The Bible says that the time is short many times, are you going to spend that time deciphering events trying to discern an unknowable date, or keep your lamp full of oil awaiting your Redeemer doing His work that you were meant to do. You can't stop time, you can only use the time you have wisely in the service of your King, not trying to be the first one on the block to win the Second Coming pool.
