You can't walk in the good works God prepared beforehand if you're not created IN CHRIST.

EXACTLY! One must have salvation FIRST. The reason why salvation is WITHOUT works.

Eph 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

It's is only AFTER salvation - being in Christ - that we can accomplish good works God prepared beforehand.

When is salvation?

I think the good works are part of the salvation.

EXACTLY the point, pnsn. Eph. Chapter 2 is THE explanation of being IN CHRIST> and thank you very much!

"Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace are ye saved;)

And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus;

That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." (Eph. 2:5-9).

located just ONE verse above the post in question, the "created in Christ Jesus for good works", is the Gospel of the Grace of God. That places the believer IN CHRIST JESUS.
