When, where, and how did you acquire sufficient knowledge of the Catholic Church's beliefs and teachings to be able to form a valid opinion of it? Have you actually studied the Catechism instead of accepting misinterpreted out of context and completely fabricated quips and excerpts thrown out by other ignorant anti-Catholics more interested in making a point than actually speaking the truth? Have you ever actually studied the complete Catechism or done the research to actually understand the meaning or context of any of any of its thousands of footnotes and references? Have you ever educated yourself on the derivation of the symbolism and imagery developed and used over the last 2,000 years as opposed to using an on-line dictionary?

In other words, there aren't any Catholics who understand your religion either...

I'm thinking it's not nearly as complicated as you make it out to be...

No one's interested in the whos, the whys or hows...It's the finished product that we're interested in...And it can all be summed up in short sentences...

For example, it's your claim that Jesus is the Mother of God (the Son)...Now we know the Catholic church's position on that issue...

The rest of the issues can pop out just as easily...And we understand what you are saying so let's not pretend it's some mysterious, magical top secret set of documents that only the Grand Wizard can understand...

It is unfortunately true that many don't, but that is not the case of the frequent Catholic posters in the Religion Forum.

Really, isn't that why there are tens of thousands of Protestant denominations all disagreeing over the meaning of "simple" short sentences versus one Holy Catholic Church?
