They gave Paul and Barnabas “the right hands of fellowship” (Gal. 2:9). When they “perceived THE GRACE that was given” to Paul. I really don’t think they signed off on it...but go ahead if that’s what you believe is “presenting his material to the Council for approval.” What were they going to do, reject his material? It was given to him by direct revelation of Jesus Christ.

Ever been at a high level business meeting of either government or industry? When the agreements are made, the principals all extend the right hand of fellowship. That normally includes the principals and the next level down. When you say 'given to him', remember that it was not in a PowerPoint presentation. I have never seen the Revelation of Paul written down in such form as the Revelation of John. Why is this?

And no, I am not referring to the Gnostic Revelation of Paul written in the third or possibly early fourth century.
