Well then lets have a list, other than Catholic resources themselves, which one might use as a resource acceptable to catholics...would that fix the problem? I think not...for what I have seen over and over again is no matter what source is used.... the person and the source are immediately condemmned. and very lucky if it’s even read to consider.
Yeah, why check directly with the Catholic Church about what it teaches, what it means, and why. That would make too hard to spin and impugn.
Look, you are entitled to your own opinion as to what your church teaches and means and even to your observations about what Catholics may or may not do in practice, but it is pathological idiocy to exclude the Church from consideration when investigating its doctrines and dogma.

INDEED. And EVEN IF the sources are the Vatican's own documents . . . even the Catechism . . .
if the particular page and paragraph doesn't agree with the particular rabid clique or other RC poster, then THE DOC IS STILL WRONG and by extension, the Proddy who searched out the source.
TALK ABOUT BRAZEN DOUBLE STANDARD, WEASEL WORDS AND OTHERWISE BRAZEN UNMITIGATED HOGWASH!
I know atheists who'd be embarrassed to be guilty of such a lack of intellectual and other integrity.
