Hardness of heart does not make one right. And believing one is right despite evidence to the contrary is arrogant. I laugh at the arrogance shown in a victory lap made before the victory had been won.
Before I had even posted my response, it seems that the decision had been made it would be insufficient under sola scriptura, though there is ample Scriptural support for it.
Embarrassed? Only that I am humbly insufficient in expressing a doctrine so beautiful and reassuring to all Christians unafraid to behold it.
