I am also a member of that “universal” body of Christ. Praise the Lord! I know that not all Catholics are so closed off to other Christians. There are some even on Free Republic that are quite charitable and giving. I see them as true brothers and sisters in Christ. God looks at the heart and He knows those that are His.

I know a few too that I consider friend. An honest broker I can respect even if we differ. Being lied to about beliefs that we clearly know exist, just are an afront to anyone who is trying to carry on an honest conversation about truth. We are called to be instant in season and out to spread God’s Word. If it offends, then truth meters need to be checked. God’s Truth will stand, no matter how it is attacked.
