When all else fails, claim anger and hatre from your opponent, even when there’s none indicated.
There is simply no way to tell inflection of voice nor emotions by facial expression in written words.
This constant claiming that written words display anger and/or hate when there’s no indication of that just comes across as a weak excuse to bail.
If I have learned one thing it’s this: Truth=Hate. As soon as any meaningful discussion begins, the recoil begins and the countdown to Truth=Hate begins. Like a 2 minute egg. To the point of denying what their beliefs/teaching actually ARE. How can a person do that? Put it in writing and suddenly YOU’RE the hater. It’s not MY belief. But do NOT call me a liar when I ask if the CC believes/teaches that she alone holds the keys to the kingdom, and has the power to retain or remit sins, teaches purgatory, prayers for the dead, Maryolatry, and sacrifice of the Mass. That’s Roman Catholicism 101.
I'm not taking the bait. And I'm not going to deal with crazy behavior.
