Before I was Baptized, I attended many churches, most of them Methodist, but there were many other protestant denominations as well.

Apparently then, you never fell for the Protestant line to accept Jesus as your Savior...And then be baptized...

Baptism is a cleansing act, to be sure. But it is also a promise and a commitment made by the one being Baptized.

The first time I sought Baptism things went awry. The pastor at the Methodist Church had a golf game come up, so my Baptism was postponed. I decided I didn’t want that man involved in such an important act.

Funny that I decided to be responsible about it instead of just diving in. I guess educating myself and exploring the facts and fallacies before committing my SOUL is unacceptable to some.
