That Quix and I, people of such very different styles and predilections, should have found, by the Grace of God, a way to love one another is a miracle of God. I am utterly persuaded of this.
I daresay we hurt each other. Quix irritates the bejaysus out of me, and it seems that he is horrified or disappointed by much of what I say.
But by the grace of God we see in each other the Love of God (in both the objective and subjective sense of the genitive).
This is a miracle greater than the love between a Montague and a Capulet. and we should be grateful for it, honor it, and take the adventure God sends through it.
Yeah I’m pious. It’s the wine.
GREATLY AGREE. THX THX.
Except I don’t think it’s the wine.
And I *THINK* we both know that neither of our goals is ever to hurt one another, nor even, per se, our co-religionists.
I think it’s harder to believe that of my style and particularly of the notion that any of my fierceness could be remotely construed as redemptive by any type of insanity. Nevertheless, by some miracle, you still seem to understand and appreciate the bulk of my heart, spirit, attitude at my core.
That is a miracle that I’m deeply thankful for.
Yes, I find many of your assertions ghastly, incomprehensible, horrific given the rest of what I know of you etc. etc. etc. I just keep trusting what God spke to my heart about His relationship with you and trust the details to Him regardless of how incredulous a given post of yours leaves me feeling.
I’d a lot rather have the intimacy between us that A-G and Betty Boop share so fully and liberally.
However, we have what we have and that is miracle enough.

"Wow! This claim is amazingly identifical [SP?] to several found on the internet." When multiple sources all cite the same Vatican Document with the same or similar language it is corroborative. There would only be a problem if they differ.
Try to keep up.
When someone posts directly from a web site without giving attribution in any way and then has the nerve to throw a "smoke bomb" it is totally dishonest and is a strong indication that the individual in question cannot be believed in in any way.
FYI the plagarized post was innacurate as was shown in this post: Plagarized and innacurate.

My love for our Lady and for Dominic is really love for the amazing thing God did in them. God can do anything and, given our beliefs, often does. That is what gives somebody like me the hope of St. Paul. I'm going to have practice to get the arrogance right, though...

If we raise our eyes from the dusty and bloody bar-room floor and look out of the room to the street and the world outside, we see how amazing it is that here are people who really think Jesus and what He did is the MOST important thing. What if we bring in a cleaning crew?
Yeah I'm pious. It's the wine.
In my drinking days, I preferred Alberta Premium Rye Whisky. Goes better with original (now only Canadian) Coke...

"2 Timothy 3"
Nothing in there about Scripture, only Scripture, or the exclusion of the rest of the Revealed Word in that one either.
There certainly is something about Scripture. Scripture is specifically stated. Only the bblind or hopelessly stupid would fail to see that.
Standard inkjet printers use red, green, or blue to print all colors in their palette.
Does that indicate that it is necessary to use red, green, and blue? NO!

Obviously it is a source used by amateurish Protestant apologists too, but it isn't the source I used. Of course not. It was someone else's. What else is new?

How clueless are they? They wet their panties when we say they don’t believe and obey God’s Word.
YET Scripture after Scripture show their teachings - along with idolatry of Mary - are totally opposed to God’s Word.
If one says Mary is ANYONE/ANYTHING MORE than a faithful servant who fulfilled the destiny assigned to her - they cannot say they hear and obey God’s Word.
If one says WORKS is required for salvation - they cannot say they hear and obey God’s Word.
And that is just for starters.

Either thump them on the tops of their pointy little heads, or else turn them into Unitarians. :)
Thump their heads first. Dizzy people make better Unitarians. :-)

SO now you are going to pretend to be a judge or legal professional? If this were a case for you to adjudicate you could make such rulings, but I frankly don't care what you or Dr. E choose to believe. I have an eye witness who happens to have been a hospice priest and hospital Chaplin. I believe him as so would most reasonable people. I would put him up against your bogus internet sources and the often discredited Dr. E in front of any jury in the world and walk away a winner. Death bed conversions, like death bed confessions, are given particular merit in legal proceedings Spoken by Mr. Disingenuous. Worth nothing.

While you are playing lawyer you ought to check your state's legal code for Hearsay Exceptions-Declarant Unavailable.
If the heresay comes from the mouth of a known liar it is given no weight.
Your heresay is worthless.

FANTASY HISTORY! Remember Jan Hus.
If I did, I'd be older than you are. His writings live on in infamy; the Church's treatment of him was awful and should never have occured. And that's exactly the treatment planned for Martin Luther.

YOU KNOW it was a 'reading your mind' response. STOP with the 'if you think'.
Also, I don't need to be told - what I'm free to do. That's NOT your place. Furthermore, I leave complaining to the moderators for the thin skinned.

Proof? Heresay is proof of nothing.
Are you saying that the basis of Universal Unitarianism is hearsay? Well, you could say that if you wish but I had in mind the heresay of a known liar.

Scripture is specifically stated. Seems not to be in one key point:
According to some Unitarians it specifically states that Jesus is not God. According to Christians, it specifically states that He is.

"The Protestants aren't getting the illegal immigrants." That I cannot disagree with. Catholics serve Caesar best by serving God first. Without turning a blind eye to it or conspiring to exploit those motivated by poverty and circumstance to enter the country illegally we need to make sure our country adopts policies that honor God.
We honor our nation best by living our Catholic/Christian faith honestly and vigorously, and bringing it without apology into the public square and its debates. We're citizens of heaven first. But just as God so loved the world that he sent his only son, so the glory and irony of the Christian life is this: The more faithfully we love God, the more truly we serve our country.

And that's exactly the treatment planned for Martin Luther. Perhaps it was, but we'll never know since the goon squads of the Pope never reached out and excised Luther from his fat and comfortable life. Perhaps they were busy and just never quite got around to it...
