there's a LOT of scab residue underneath a LOT of RC fingernails . . . even beyond the rabid clique types.
I don't keep track of such things. I consider that God's department.
Yet, I do have a general sense that it's a very common RC ritual with a LOT of intensely vigorous devotees.
Some even do it in their brazenly prickly and baiting thread titles. Some do it with their brazenly UNBIBLICAL, UNHISTORICAL tired and worn pointedly haughty pet phrases about pet EXCLUSIVIST VATICAN DOGMA HOGWASH. SOME seem to do it primarily out of personal pique and hostility--cue the Nurse Rachett Brigade of large white hanky snappers.
BTW, I hear the latter are planning to stage a counter march to the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence in San Francisco. They've reportedly gotten a special shower of white hankys the size of bath towels from the purported Heavenly Mary personage.
There is even recon telling of their practicing on some High School football field some sort of carefully choreographed hanky snapping routine. They've gotten volunteers to play the squad of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence.
Evidently the Nurse Rachett Brigade sort of marches up and engulfs the SoPI squad and then begins snapping away. Extra points are scored for the more delicate areas hit.
Some folks are saying the San Francisco police department is going to have to be out in force to prevent a genuine brawl.
In this case, I'd probably be cheering the Nurse Rachett Brigade. However, some folks say it's all a rumor started by some wild Proddy on the net.
However it is no great surprise that yet again, RC's are wailing with long pointy fingers at others for the very things they obsessively do so much they've turned it into a formal ritualized RELIGIOUS rite.
I think they have armed themselves with long rulers, whacking the knuckles of those who dare to disagree.
