Of course. But some of the things you pulled from the article that weren't there remind me of how often an attitude that creeps in to the church is one of 'no conflicts' and 'get along to get along' type of thinking. Our speech by its nature will be provocative and piercing AND the most effective IF we speak the truth as God directs us in each situation - which all are different. Think of what Jesus did when Satan came to tempt him. Satan gave all manor of verses twisted into half-truth logic but Jesus refuted with straight truth. An attitude of I'm smarter than you will fail in efficacy. An awareness of the Truth we wield and speak is extremely effective (Hebrews 4:12).
