Place an atheist on U-boat during a depth charge attack. This had a 100% conversion rate. Saying that will just get atheists mad at you. There are a number of "atheists in foxholes" websites out there with atheists in the military shouting at the top of their lungs that they exist, and if you say such a thing in an online debate, they'll invariably point you to one of them.

Never said that there were not atheist in the military.

I was just quoting a line I heard from an old U-boat captain talking about depth charge attacks. The captain said every once in a while an atheist would embark on his ship. When they were under a depth charge attack the atheist would get down on his knees and pray with everyone else. I don't know how long this conversion would last. Probably until the next depth charge attack.
