So a couple of weeks ago we found out that the corporate weenies at Gov’t Motors were eliminating the familiar “Chevy” from its lexicon in favor of “Chevrolet.”

My wife works at a Chevy dealership. They got a notice from Detroit saying that the dropping of "Chevy" was a mistake, that the policy was rescinded and that "Chevy" is still perfectly acceptable.

The only time I remember them being called Chevrolets was when Dinah Shore sang her song at the end of her show, “See the USA in your Chevrolet”, I guess they can change that now to “See the USA in your government motors vehicle”.
