I am providing this link to a short video on some common Myths and Realities regarding The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, aka Mormons.
As this board is overrun with activist anti-Mormon propagandists there will surely be lots of replies in the negative. If you want to know the whole truth, then please do read everything they have to say and then do some research on your own from more than one side of the subject.
I am sure you will be quite enlightened when you discover just how clever and deceptive many of the arguments posed against the church are and what the actual truth is. I'd wager that the majority of the time the person regurgitating the propaganda doesn't realize it themselves. Put forth the effort and see for yourself.
Am I right? One way to find out. You do want the truth right?

If you want to know the whole truth, then please do read those 800 pounds or so of golden plates that mystically evaporated after the see-er stones in the hat enabled their mystic translation.

Maybe the whole truth can explain why the Mormon Church teaches:
Jesus and Satan are brothers...
That God the father had a meeting on the planet Kolob with all to discuss man and his needed salvation and how they voted to follow Jesus’s plan and those voting with becam angels, thos aganist followed his brother Satan and those not choosing were cursed by God the father to become the spirits indwelling black people (not making this up and its quite obscene)...
That to obtain godhood you must be multiple married...(male pig alert)
That man becomes a god like God and has his own planets and the whole thing starts all over again there...
These are but a few I would like full explainations of as I see it as a cult to believe in them.

It's the "fundies" (who read the newspaper with one hand and the Bible with the other), that I think are entertaining.
I’d rather watch aluminum screening oxidize. It would be more profitable, and illuminating.
While you are here could you clear up a few things:
Do you believe that you will someday be a God over your own planet?
Do you believe that Jesus and Satan were brothers?
Do you believe that God the Father was once a man as you were?
Do you believe that Jesus was married to several women?
Do you believe that the Mormon Apostle Bruce McConkie held the same exalted position in the Church that Peter and Paul once held?
Do you believe that there are three Nephites who have been alive for the last 2000 years?
Do you believe the Earth is Hollow?
Those screens have been made of plastic coated fiberglass for at least a couple of decades.
Okay, so I watched the video.
It’s a glossy puff piece, that doesn’t address any of the historical or doctrinal problems of the LDS church. It doesn’t answer any of the dozens of false prophecies that Joseph Smith made, or admit that he married 34 women, 11 of them being already married to other men, and some as young as 14.
The video is like a guy saying, “Look, my rash isn’t on a visible part of me, like my hand or face, so would you like to go out sometime?”

[Context for those who don't know biblical backdrop to this line -- Jesus to the legalists: "Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You travel over land and sea to win a single convert, and when he becomes one, you make him twice as much a son of hell as you are." (Matt. 23:15) ]
