Pray for life.

The dimocrats' platform includes the support of abortion. There is no bishop that should be a dimocrat dimwit. Just in case we have all forgotten here are some older links (against the Obamacare/healthcare passage) to glance through.

I disagree. I think the majority of the Church is prolife. It’s just a matter of replacing the 1960’s generation which is still polluting the USCCB.

There is more to the Church than the mission field which is the US.

Let us make two lists.

First list: Currently living pro-death politicians who claim to be Catholic, along with their party affiliation:

1) Nancy Pelosi (D) (US House)
2) John F. Kerry (D) (US Senate)
3) Patrick Leahy (D) (US Senate)
4) ...

Well, you may disagree, but the majority of Catholics voted for Obama. What does that tell you? Father Phlager was called on the carpet for his shenanigans, but what really happened to him? Nada, nuttin. We can't even discipline a priest gone wild, let alone a few pols that thumb their noses at the church. You can look at the situation any way you want, but I'm trying to be realistic and not let my feelings for the church influence my opinion of the truth. I realize there are multitudes of good Catholics in the pews, but it just seems more and more every day are in positions of influence that are destroying the Church. I can't point to “the last straw” exactly, but day after day, drip by drip, we get stories like Pelosi saying the Church isn't settled on abortion while in Rome. There are people in powerful positions spewing crap like a honey wagon and NOTHING seems to happen other than a editorial in some opinion column by a priest or Bishop somewhere. Where is the backbone of the Church? These people need to be disciplined or thrown out if they just can't be comfortable with the Word of God. We don't need them and I'm sure God is judging our reaction to their blasphemy.

I don't think anybody condones thought police turning all of us into mindless robots, but some things we should all be able to agree on and abortion is right up there at the top of the list. We can argue over Latin mass or what ever else among ourselves, but there are some things that are at the heart of church teaching that we must agree on or we are no longer Catholic. Abortion is one of those. If a Democrat wants to favor abortion, gay marriage, removing God from American life, and a bucket of other topics, Then they need to decide if they want to be Catholic or a Democrat. Right now, there doesn't seem to be all that much pressure to make a decision.

Pelosi, born 1940.

Kerry, born 1943.

Mahoney, born 1936.

All came of age in the 60s.

Why are you worried about what the dinosaurs believe? Their time is already passing.

Patrick Leahy - 1940.

Wow, why am I not surprised that all the most notorious Catholic pro abortion politicians came of age in the 60s?
