Bubbas and Sissies in the Lord!
May the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us all. (Saint Paul said that, and I like it.)
Have you noticed how the Spirit makes friends and families (He setteth the solitary in families) out of those who are estranged (All over Ephesians) merely through our praying together?
To me, part of the wonder of Ephesians is that Paul takes what might seem like a mere growth strategy and expounds it as part and parcel of the History of Salvation and of the mystery of God’s plan.
(I also like the part where it says the Ol’ Mizris has to do what I tell her, um, sort of, okay, not so much.)
Let us pray for the humility to abandon ourselves to the reconciling plan of God.
