It was fun, until MarkBsnr implied you were unable to keep your timeline straight because you're Protestant.

But, you're Catholic, right?

It doesn’t matter. Timelines are timelines. Fact is fact.

Got it.

With regret;

It doesn’t matter.

That's interesting. It appeared to matter when a presumed member of a church other than your own had made an error.

But, now it doesn't.

"Ahem. The KJV Bible was in English. Nobody spoke English in Europe in the 1500s, at least of any note."

Be that as it may, by the 1520's those printing presses were cranking out a ton of Tyndale english New Testament translations and flooding Endland with them. So much so that Cardinal Wolsey put a price on William Tyndale's head and stated burning the bibles in giant bonfires on the public square.

If a member of whatever it is that you believe in made the same statement in sarcasm, I would post the same apology. I missed the sarcasm. If there was no levity meant, then the apology is retracted. But it was, and therefore my apology is for missing it.

Be that as it may, by the 1520's those printing presses were cranking out a ton of Tyndale english New Testament translations and flooding Endland with them.

Define 'ton' and define 'flooding'. Numerically, please.

So much so that Cardinal Wolsey put a price on William Tyndale's head and stated burning the bibles in giant bonfires on the public square.

All the idiots who prate about inerrancy of the Bible ought to start with the accuracy of these inerrant Bibles. Do you have any idea of what the content of these Bibles were?

“It was fun, until MarkBsnr implied you were unable to keep your timeline straight because you’re Protestant.’

Personally, I find that hilarious.

I saw no indication of sarcasm or levity, nor apparently did you, given the nature of your reply.

You appear to be apologizing to a Catholic for assuming he (?) was Protestant.

But will you be apologizing to Protestants for the erroneous slur?

Great list!

Another one: Proverbs 4:5,6 “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not to thy own understanding. In all of your ways, acknowledge Him and He will direct thy path.”

"Do you have any idea of what the content of these Bibles were?"

Yes, the Tyndale bible was an English translation of Erasmus' greek manuscripts for the New Testament. About 75% of it found its way directly into the 1611 Authorized KJV.
