Then Jesus answered and said: “A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, who stripped him of his clothing, wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead. 31 Now by chance a certain priest came down that road. And when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. Likewise a Levite, when he arrived at the place, came and looked, and passed by on the other side. But a certain Mormon, as he journeyed, came where he was. And when he saw him, he had compassion. So he went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine; and he set him on his own animal, brought him to an inn, and took care of him. On the next day, when he departed,[a] he took out two denarii, gave them to the innkeeper, and said to him, ‘Take care of him; and whatever more you spend, when I come again, I will repay you.’ So which of these three do you think was neighbor to him who fell among the thieves?” And he said, “He who showed mercy on him.” Then Jesus said to him, “Go and do likewise.”

So you think Mormons have the market cornered on compassion???

You HAVE to be kidding, the LDS are the LEAST compassionate people I know. Seriously, I know athiests who are more compassionate than any Mormon I know.

think having people give up their gold fillings to pay for a temple. Not to mention the whole Haiti fiasco.

Ok, it's bad enough the LDS slander and degrade Jesus Christ, misrepresent his sacrifice and demean its meaning, it is bad enough they try and twist Christianity into some polytheistic concoction of fantasy and blasphemy, it is bad enough that Joe Smith "edited" the Holy Word of the One and Only God, but to inject Mormonism into the word of God in an effort to perpetuate the fraud is a tick much for me.

Besides, we have seen LDS "compassion" and what price comes with it...

You must be joking. Comparing Mormons to samaritans? Samaritans were despised half-breeds and considered unclean. I'm living in the middle of Mormon land and I see them actually sending their kids to school, shopping at the grocery store, eating in restaurants. My boss is one, many of my coworkers and neighbors are Mormon.

I can't get over the Mormon idea that someone not liking their religion makes them persecuted.
