That doesn't change the fact that in every account of Calvin that I've read he comes off as a narcissistic control freak, personality traits that happen to be quite common among the homosexual men of my acquaintance (sp). lol. Then perhaps the error is in your choice of reading material.
You might also try hanging out with less "homosexual men of (your) acquaintance."
