That Scripture passage was carved into the side of an old Synagogue (Temple Mishkin Tefillah)in Boston, MA. The Congregation has long since moved away, but the words remained carved in the the stone facade, and I used to see them every day driving home from work.

It was Leonard Nimoy's Old Synagogue when he was a kid growing up in Boston.

But it is a good thing to have these Scriptures hidden in our hearts, since it is becoming more and more evident that a day may come when our Bibles might be taken away from us, God Forbid!

Thank You, Dear Conor, for your Picture of the Western Wall (Kotel) today, that you posted with your Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem!

For The Prayer Warriors who don't know the whole story behind the Kotel, Here it is:

When Herod renovated Nehemiah's Second Temple, he went all out!
He used massive stones to build a huge retaining wall around the Temple Mount with the characteristic beveled edges that one can still see today on the Kotel.
The Romans Utterly destroyed Herod's Temple in 70AD, leaving not one stone upon the other, just as Jesus of Nazareth predicted.
However, the retaining wall remained.
In the 8th Century, the Dome of the Rock was erected on the site of the Temple and Jews were banned from the Temple Mount.
At that point in History, the Retaining Wall on the Western Side was the closest that Jews could get to THEIR Holy Place.
Jews would go to the Wall and Weep because of the tragedy, so it got to be known as the "Wailing Wall."Then, When Jerusalem was divided in 1948, the Jordanians would not allow Jews to even go THERE!

In 1967, the Wall was liberated by Israeli Paratroopers.

It is no longer referred to as "The Wailing Wall", but as "The Kotel", or as the "Western Wall" in English.

But Christians and Jews are STILL barred from Praying on the Temple Mount by the WAQF (Muslim Authorities in Charge).

Even the swaying of the head (dovening) or the silent movement of the lips is forbidden.

The Scripture speaks of the "King of the North" Sweeping down on the Pleasant Land.
It also speaks of the King of Persia making a pact with the King of Egypt to attack Israel (Much like Iran getting Cozy with Egypt to use the Suez Canal for it's "Flotilla"?
Not To mention the prophecies of Damascus becoming a ruinous heap where nothing will GROW.(nukes?)

These are the times that try men's souls!

Dreams can be "Just Dreams", or they can be a Genuine move of the Spirit.

The Rule, of Course, is that The LORD would NEVER Contradict His Own Word.
That's how to tell the difference.

Back in 1967, The King of Jordan, calling himself the "King of Kings", decided he was going to take out the stones that were blocking the Eastern Gate and make a Grand Entrance Through it!

But then, wouldn't Ya Know, The SIX DAY WAR broke out and All of jerusalem ended up in the HANDS of Israel!

My pleasure to share! Leonard shared that He saw the Rabbi give the Aaron Hand Blessing during the High Holy Days, and he made it a one-handed version and said "Live Long and Prosper" in the original Classic Star Trek Series.
So when you do the "Vulcan Salute", you are actually doing a Jewish Blessing that is thousands of years old!
