I like his work. I like those winter cottage scenes. Maybe this guy knows the quality of his work. Could his drinking be due to low self esteem?

Everybody can't paint like Johannes Vermeer, and they shouldn't. He should just enjoy his work and be glad others do also. And maybe go to rehab.

I do too......Maybe it's just me but most of those paintings give me good feelings of Christmas time in an idyllic little town I wish I had grown up in.
