So, if this an Apostolic Tradition, why doesnt Rome accept it?

It is acceptable and I just came across a Catholic retreat that does this for those who want to give public confession.

There is nothing that permits public confessions in Church teaching

I can understand why private confession is allowed as well because the modern world is too judgmental and there ae too many cafeteria Catholics who might use these confession to hurt someone.

Confession of sin to one another is SCRIPTURAL, and hardly qualifies an Apostolic ORAL Big 'T' Tradition.

The truth is there are no Big 'T' traditions that were NOT written down. Simply affirming their existence with NEVER a detail is accidental proof, they dont exist.

Dear Friend,
Everything written (with the exception of something like the ten commandments)starts with tradition before it gets written.

Go back and read post #357 because we are just spinning our wheels here over and over.
