“would first torture you and then burn you at the stake thinking they were doing Gods work.”
Thank goodness, we aren’t Lutherans.
You seem to think your hands are clean. Luther executed anabaptists for the heresy of denying Christian baptism.
How many did Brother Martin kill?
Actually, yes, my hands are clean, as I suspect are yours. I have never tortured, condemned nor murdered anyone because of their faith - or anything else for that matter! BTW - I am not a Lutheran, or Calvinist, either, but you seem to have missed my point to the original poster of the condemnation to be expected for the very nerve of posting something critical of the Roman Catholic Church. Only a few hundred years ago, that could have meant a condemnation of death after unpleasant torture,of course, just in case you wanted to "change your mind". No one gets a "pass" from me for un-Christlike treatment of others. Jesus experienced the exact same treatment for his preaching, so I don't think he approved of anyone doing so "in his name". Do you?
