“Yes because modern usage has taken the word hail to mean a more specialized greeting as in Hail ceasar or Hail Hitler”
What you mean is that is how *you* understand it.
We Catholics are quite happy to follow the meaning that’s in the King James.
“Gabriel told her that she was highly favored of God, but never refered to her as the pre immaculate chosen co-redemptrix of God.
Fine, then the real issues have nothing to do with the rosary, and everything to do with the doctrine of the immaculate conception. Why are we bothering to waste time on arguing about the rosary? It’s got nothing to do with the real issues.
Co-redemptrix, simply means that she worked alongside Christ to redeem man. That’s all it means.
I did not know that the King James Bible was the Catholic Church’s bible of authority. Is it the official bible of the church?
Well I’m not the only one to have “observed” its(hail) usage in that way...
Mary acknowledged “the God of her salvation”. The work of Salvation was Christ’s alone via the finished work of the cross. Mary was co-redemptrix of nothing. She carried Christ in her womb, then had other babies with Joseph...for Joseph “knew her not” until after the birth of Christ.
