Not in the slightest. The Holy Spirit now indwells each member of Christ's flock.
There is NO Scriptural evidence for apostolic succession. But there is plenty of evidence that the age of the apostles ended with the apostles, leaving their teaching to be handed down through the Scriptures and made knowable by the Holy Spirit.
