, the same Christ we ask Mary to take us to earlier in the prayer,

Well see there's the problem right there. Mary is not a co-mediator in any shape or form.

1 Timothy 2:5 - For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus

Timothy didn't say there were TWO mediators, Mary + Christ, or that the one mediator between God and man was Mary - he specifically said that mediator is Christ alone.

Go ahead and pray to Mary all you want - its bouncing off the ceiling because she isn't the mediator.

Indeed, but that's not Mary so no worries,...

True. So why is she called that then??? Unless of course you lack the ability to discern that Mary being referred to with the exact same title as Jeremiah's pagan goddess is not a good thing????? For the rest of us, its quite th eye-opener.

Not my problem, never claimed she was a co-mediator. Mary is an intercessor, not the mediator so no problem there. Maybe the problem is that you imagine things and then project that on others.

So why is she called that then???

Revelation 12:1-17. I also call her mother, so should you.
