None of us are God nor claim to be, however we do know his truth.

And from that we know that as of right you will find the judgment he has for you a tick disappointing.

BTW which god are you revering to from your perspective?

So yes of course your Jesus loves you as does the real one, just for different reasons.

But just THINK, Jonesie! How speshul the mormons are that they can "please" their Jesus by obeying their laws and temple rituals and garments and hurtful practices like leaving parents or siblings out of weddings, by proxy baptisms of millions of souls against the will of those souls, by paying and paying the Corporation of the President and building billion-dollar malls instead of following OUR Jesus' instructions to love one another and give to the needy.

How many, many families are being thrown out of their homes, how many are losing jobs and income and being cast onto the good will of Christian organizations who provide shelters and soup kitchens all over the country.

Where are those of the yellow tee shirts with the "helping hands" logo today who could be serving these people, white, brown and black in the way that this organization does?

Instead, the mormon church builds its property with the exclusive penthouse apartments overlooking the "mormon mecca", with the expectation that these "speshul" people will bring their coin to the mormon mammon and purchase them.

Mormons can then travel to Temple Square and point with one-up pride at the oh so speshul landmark that came into being because Joseph Smith brought them the "real" Jesus, secure in the knowledge that only the favored few will be allowed to enter.

I am referring to the Jesus of the New Testament, the Redeemer and Savior; the Jesus of the Old Testament
_____________________________________________

Really ???

The one you describe is my God, my Jesus ...

The LORD Jesus Christ of the Christians..

You have heard of Him ???

and yet you call Him “small, mean, condemning” etc without fear of His displeasure...

and reject Him for the mormon god of Joey Smith...

DOES NOT COMPUTE

“I am referring to the Jesus of the New Testament, the Redeemer and Savior; the Jesus of the Old Testament, the Great Jehovah. The Jesus who is the Head of my Church. “

How can this be true, Saundra???

How could the Jesus of the New Testament be the head
of a Church that denies who the Bible says He is?

Impossible. Why would He associate Himself with a
group that teaches that there are trillions of gods
when the God of the Bible says there is ONE GOD?

Impossible.

Either your post is knowingly a distortion

OR

you do not understand the simple language
of the Bible.

I have no idea which it is, but your claim
is fraudulent.

Jesus would not deny the words of God.

“Hear O’ Israel, the Lord your God, is ONE God.”

In addition to the three gods mormons claim exist
for earth, how many more gods do you believe exist
on other planets, Saundra?

A. Millions
B. Billions
C. Trillions
D. Quadrillions

That the Mormon “savior” is just the devil in a Jesus mask is full proven by the very riches they build up here and how they are kept from his people, the very ones who pay for it.

Resty, the covenant I (and all who are saved) with the Lord is certainly NOT based on my behavior.

You should expect some twaddle about a "new dispensation" as a reply.

“Does anybody understand “make believe”?

The mormonic verses are fiction, but they are far
more dangerous than make believe.

they distort the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which
can leave people on the road to hell with a false
hope.

Not your Jesus who is petty and small minded and mean spirited.
__________________________________________

Odd that our Jesus was not too “petty and small minded and mean spirited” to allow tghem to hang Him on the Cross and shed His blood on the Cross and die on the Cross a finished complete work to save you from your sins...

and yet you prefer the slave driving greedy mormon jesus who just “sweated” a little bit in a garden like a prissy girl...

and didnt save you from anything...

Exactly. My Jesus is sweet and kind and He loves me; my Jesus accepts me “just as I am.” Your Jesus is mean to me.

Good retort. If it wasn't so sad it would be funny. :-)

Not just a denial of the Holy Trinity, but acknowledgment of the religious significance of a household lubricant among the LDS.

grin

Wow Saundra. Your measly little one sentence caused some introspection and most didn't like it. They're nippin' at your heels. Dance, dance. lol.

As an outsider I can honestly observe who is more at peace with their Jesus and it certainly doesn't seem to be them. :-)

Do you mean the Bible that teaches Jesus was never created nor made, but was always God?

****

Isa. 43:
8 ¶ Bring forth the blind people that have eyes, and the deaf that have ears.

9 Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the people be assembled: who among them can declare this, and shew us former things? let them bring forth their witnesses, that they may be justified: or let them hear, and say, It is truth.

10 Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.

11 I, even I, am the Lord; and beside me there is no saviour.

12 I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, that I am God.

13 Yea, before the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it?

Phil 2
5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

Hummmm, I don't think I saw your comment and it's gone now.

As for Sandys experience.... in this secular/socialist world we live in now having strangers come to your door is more than a little concerning.......For that reason I would assume the leadership of their church would not send their people out apart from preparing them for unwelcoming receptions...or even hostile ones...especially in a foreign country such as Germany. So this should not have been alarming to a mature and prepared individual.

However,... when you add to these dynamics, which her friend did, (after the people had given her the benefit of the doubt and opened their door to her), that they were going to Hell she indeed created an extremely volatile situation. She is fortunate it was simply a glass of water and not something far worse regardless of what her belief system was......so she had zero critical thinking concerning her visit there.....which placed herself in very real danger.

I am not familiar with the Mountain Meadows Massacre by name, but if it follows the overall trend of the history of mormonism it was likely a bloody mess when all was said and done. Counterfeit cults/religions can and do take life....mentally and physically.

For any religion/church to put fear in an individual, via water, garlic, a cross, or other tangible items... they have crossed the line of anything remotely Christian and are adhering to the middle-age era of thinking and beliefs at best...and those were full of pagan sorcerer's, demonic ghosts, occultic worship and the like. They didn't call that time the “dark ages” for nothing.

You wrote....”Sandy impressed on us that the most evil and worse thing that could ever happen to anyone was to be the recipient of a glass of water.”.......Most people would have difficulty not laughing for such a statement...and I have a good feeling someday Sandy will indeed look back in amazement that she spoke this way... let alone believed it.
Sandy sounds very young...is she?

It is truly heartbreaking to see a church who claims the banner of Christ to create such nonsense...,and it is just that,.....to play with and manipulate the minds and hearts of people who were at one time searching for the truth. There journey was sabotaged by the father of lies....but then we are not to be ignorant of satans devices.

These people have not only been deceived and lied to greatly, but they are pushed to the brink to peddle satans wares to others. For this God clearly warns.... that those who lead others to this fate will surely be judged much more harshly for doing so....of which there will be an accounting one day if they do not turn away from these teachers and teachings.. before it is to late.

May God truly reach down and rescue those who are willing to be rescued. But then it is a matter of being willing to turn....just one step away... and He will carry them the rest of the way back to Him. The decision is there's to make with promise He will meet them...and He never lies.

Oh the possibilities

1. They arent a conjcubine of Joey Smith

2. Its not their night to have to “service” the mangod/king/sheikh of the mormon harem they belong to..

3. Some loving Flying Inman just told them the truth about the lie called mormonism and they are now free..

4. Wouldnt you smile if you found out it was OK to wear jeans and different colored clothes than those ugly “sister wives” ???
