Perhaps? Agnosticism is uncomfortable because it is a state of cognitive dissonance. On the one hand, the agnostic insists that only that which passes the test of the agnostic's reason can be valid. On the other, the agnostic refuses to trust the results of reason because the agnostic's reason may be faulty.
One might describe this as letting the perfect be the enemy of the good; a better answer is that the agnostic is caught between pride on the one had and fear on the other.
If, however, you are claiming that you are merely doubtful whether Jesus is part of a Trinity of three aspects of one Lord (adonai echad in traditional Christianity), then the answer is: you are still agnostic. "Paralysis of analysis" is an annoying phrase used by multi-level marketers to shame doubters into investing despite reasonable doubts; I will not insult you by repeating it. Nonetheless, I will point out that the existentialists admitted that solipsism alone is inadequate: a leap of faith is required. A leap to what, they cannot say, and neither can I command you to have faith from my own authority. We may all be invincibly ignorant, but our Creator has imbued us with the need to believe despite our inadequacies. I will pray for you, and I hope this post is helpful, though I have faith that my prayers are more helpful than any posts.
and theres also that bit about the mormon falling into apostacy and sin if they research the truth of mormonism for themselves...

That is certainly true. I was told to ‘put it on a shelf’ and not to ‘think myself’ out of the LDS church.
Funny in over 15 years as a Christian, and degrees in Theology, I STILL haven’t ‘thought myself’ out of Christianity. That right there shows that Mormonism is not of God.
Ah... the first to pop up and self-identify?
I know. American public education at work. sigh.
It's YOUR chosen 'religion' that has LIED about CHRSITIANITY.
Since you seem alright with this, be sure to enjoy your fate.
Hey, you better knock off that cut and paste stuff or one of your knights might get upset.
And as for “telling you what you believe”, no, I don’t do that. I tell anyone who will read my witness what the LdS church believes and teaches.
Oh woe, what to do with the apostates who were once in the church.
I know, cast them into outer darkness, that’ll get ‘em!
Galatians 1:7-10
7. Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. 8. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. 9. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. 2 Corinthians 11:14-15
14. And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. 15. It is not surprising, then, if his servants masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve. Revelation 13:13-15
13. And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, 14. And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
It appears that EXPERIENCES can be deceiving...
If one believes the Bible is correct, then, by that Standard, Mormonism fails the test.
If, however, you are convinced that the Bible is either in error, been corrupted or mis-interpreted, then you are free to believe whatever you wish.

It always amazes me how people in their finite minds try to tell us what we beleive.

Honey, I KNOW what the LDS teach (ie what you (pl) believe. Been there, done that, read the book, saw the movie, wore the garments.
You’re the coward hiding behind your keyboard making accusations.
You might want to get a refund...
You forgot to source your post. Those aren’t your words...

And the entire article is incorrect and mistates Christian doctrine.
Shame on you, Resty!
Thanks for proving that the LDS do not understand the Christian doctrine of the Trinity.
Appreciate it.
I hope that THIS wine is better received than the hundreds of whines coming from MORMON keyboards.

I was almost one of them. I gave up freep for a couple of years because I hated that I couldn’t speak my mind.
But one will NOT make it thru ETERNITY with one of the choices.
Oxycontin kicking in?
Well, show US a verse in the BIBLE (and NOT the JST) where Joseph Smith witnessed The Father and The Son...or a camel or a curelom.
If you are going to hold the Bible as proof, you will be held to the same standard. Of course, we won't ask you to provide proof texts from the fictional scriptures of mormonism.
