I don’t know what you people are talking about. You don’t make any sense.

- - - - -
Then pay attention, because we make perfect sense and tell you exactly what the TRUE Gospel is, not the ‘perfect pack of nonsense’ (to quote Pratt) the LDS teaches.

It’s a spiritual battle.

Yes and the moremons are not going to beat the LORD Jesus Christ...

EVERYTHING must BOW to the Name of Jesus...

Everything that has a name is has to BOW to the Name the is above all names, and that Name is Jesus...

Joey Smith is a name ...he BOWED his knees to the Name of Jesus and said that it was Jesus who was LORD and not Joey Smith...(not till after God destroyed him...but he finally learned he had to...)

Mormonisn is a name ...it will BOW its knees to the Name of Jesus and say that Jesus is LORD and not the unclean spirit of mormonism...

And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to death—even death on a cross! Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in Heaven and on Earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:9-11

You hate Mormons but don’t even know why. It’s a spiritual battle.

— - - - -
Well, you are half right.

It is a spiritual battle, it is a battle against the forces of darkness that bind people to Mormonism and keep them away from God.

But you are wrong when you state we hate Mormons, just because we hate the lies your church teaches, doesn’t mean we hate individual members.

If we hated you, we would leave you alone. But we are fighting for your soul.

If you copied me in insinuating I’m an “attacker” because I’m not familar w/Mormon teachings you’d be wrong. Matter of fact I’m familiar enough with both Mormonism and Christianity to know that I choose neither and that sincere people can make it through the day with either if they so choose.

No, I would say, you, if I had to guess, falls more into the final category I mentioned. You identify with minority religious viewpoints seemingly being endlessly in a "fray." So, I'd say, you're more of a "stick up for the perceived underdog" kind of poster. But that's just a guess. You seem to fall into that category at times. The key word here is obviously "seem."

Still, II, much of what I've seen you object to within Christianity over years of threads is shared by the Mormon worldview.

So, in that sense, you either ignore that...or, don't care to note that Mormonism teaches the same thing.

Personally, I’m getting tired of being condemned to hell by the anti Mormons on this site. That would not be Christian; that would not even be civil.

Then come to Christ, the real one not your ‘elder brother’ who is a lesser god.

And it is VERY Christian to teach against false doctrines.

2 Corinthians 11:12-13

And I will keep on doing what I am doing in order to cut the ground from under those who want an opportunity to be considered equal with us in the things they boast about. For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, masquerading as apostles of Christ.

I will pop in once in a while to spread the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

THAT’LL BE THE DAY. YOU HAVEN’T YET.

GO AHEAD AND PROCLAIM IT, SANDY. DO IT. I DARE YOU.

All you ever seem to post is the same ‘cut and paste’ complaints and testimony. You haven’t said word one about your doctrines.

I suspect it is because us ‘antis’ know more about Mormonism than you do.

Hi caww,

Speaking from my own experience, the Gospel of Christ as taught by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is as sweet and satisfying to me now as it was when I was baptized 25 years ago. I know many, many others who are satisfied and settled and comfortable in the same faith.

In your opinion we may be deceived, but I don’t feel like I’m in a frying pan at all. I have found more that is satisfying in Mormonism than in any other religion I had previously studied or been involved with.

Best,

Normandy

Christianity is not a religion. And every single person on earth is welcome. It doesn't matter where you live or what color you are or who your family is or what you wear or if you're ever ead the bible. It doesn't matter if you have committed every sin ever known to man.

All you have to do is admit that you are a hopeless mess and are lost and have no power to save yourself.

You have to be truly sorry for all your sins (but be fully aware you will still sin and you won't instantly be made perfect).

Then you take the free gift being offered to you - acceptance that Jesus already paid for you on the cross. And you put all your faith in Him from that point on.

If you just stopped there, that would be enough. But believe me, you won't want to. The thirst in me for His word and the truth was awakened!

Seriously, Freepmail me if you ever want to talk offline.

Well the LORD Jesus Christ of the Christian Bible was the very first anti mormon to condemn you to Hell...

Why dont you complain to Him and see what He says about your complaining ???

Jesus said to the Christians, “Go to Sandra Duffy and preach the good news to her. If she believes and is baptized she will be saved, but if she does not believe she will be condemned. Mark 16:15, 16

That doesn’t make it from God. Satan can (and does) make things seem sweet and satisfying.

Mormonism is in direct contradiction to the Bible.

Be sure to give it a proper blessing and take it down to Indiana. I know that will cure poor Elsie. Be certain to tell him not to chug it as that is the Mormon way to drink.

On the other hand a jug of Thunderbird will probably work just fine.James Mason loves(ed) it.

Yes, even Joey Smith who broke and spat on every one of the Ten Commandments could have been forgiven and saved and gone on to Heaven if he had called on Jesus in those last few moments before he got himself killed...

But no, he had his demonic Jupiter talisman on him...the one he put all his faith in to protect him and give him wealth...

and he had a gun that he put all his faith in to shoot and kill his way out of jail...

and he had his fellow Freemasons in the crowd outside that he had gathered hoping that they were not still angry at him for betraying their secret blood oaths...(Like that would work for him)

faith in everything but Jesus the Savior...

calling on everything to save him but Jesus the Savior...

I have been a Mormon for over ten years and never one time have I heard another Mormon condemn non Mormons to hell. That would not be Christian; that would not even be civil.

Tell us, then, how "Christian" and "civil" Joseph Smith was being when he answered this Q in Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith: Q: "'Do you believe the Bible?' [Smith:]'If we do, we are the only people under heaven that does, for there are none of the religious sects of the day that do'. When asked 'Will everybody be damned, but Mormons'? [Smith replied] 'Yes, and a great portion of them, unless they repent, and work righteousness." (p. 119).

To: Saundra Duffy

Hi Sandy,

I am grateful that I am not to be judged by fellow humans, but by God:

“But while one portion of the human race is judging and condemning the other without mercy, the Great Parent of the universe looks upon the whole of the human family with a fatherly care and paternal regard; He views them as His offspring, and without any of those contracted feelings that influence the children of men, causes “His sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.” He holds the reins of judgment in His hands; He is a wise Lawgiver, and will judge all men, not according to the narrow, contracted notions of men, but, “according to the deeds done in the body whether they be good or evil,” or whether these deeds were done in England, America, Spain, Turkey, or India. He will judge them, “not according to what they have not, but according to what they have,” those who have lived without law, will be judged without law, and those who have a law, will be judged by that law. We need not doubt the wisdom and intelligence of the Great Jehovah; He will award judgment or mercy to all nations according to their several deserts, their means of obtaining intelligence, the laws by which they are governed, the facilities afforded them of obtaining correct information, and His inscrutable designs in relation to the human family; and when the designs of God shall be made manifest, and the curtain of futurity be withdrawn, we shall all of us eventually have to confess that the Judge of all the earth has done right”

History of the Church, 1:317; from a letter from Joseph Smith to William W. Phelps, Jan. 11, 1833, Kirtland, Ohio
