He's getting a little creepy, imho. He's always had an edge, but now...one of the the two times this year I listened a woman called in saying, "Glenn, I built the bomb shelter just like you said, bought the freeze dried food, have gold coins...." and on and on like that and then he starts reading scripture to her. Way too Jim Jonesish for me.

Which is too bad because he is hilarious and quite sharp.

But I guess we all have our Achille's Heels.

The radio show has lost some edge since the TV shows started up. I get the impression that most of the new fans only know him from the TV stuff, and have no idea of how funny/edgy the radio show used to be.

Now that he has Pat and Stu sitting in with him he rarely sobs like he was doing for a while there, the shows are better too.

I do think the TV shows are good for conservatism.

...bought the freeze dried food...

(Wouldn't surprise me if a lot of the "pantry preparation industry" -- the ones that supply Mormons with a year or two of extra food -- has been bought out by Mormons...or at least Lds, Inc. has invested heavily in it...has anybody asked if he gets a cut on the take?)
